Personalized educational consulting in functional wellness.
I founded Functional Warrior after navigating my own complex journey through chronic illness, environmental exposures, and neurological dysregulation. What began as a desperate search for answers became a deep, lived education in the interconnected systems that either support or undermine human vitality.
Today I offer educational consulting and coaching grounded in extensive personal experience and ongoing research across the precise areas that transformed my own recovery: peptide research, mold and mycotoxin identification, environmental toxin recovery, long COVID and post-viral syndromes, brain health and neuroplasticity, functional movement, and nutrition as medicine.
I'm not licensed in medicine. I do not diagnose or treat conditions. Instead, I serve as a dedicated guide who has successfully healed myself after being failed by numerous "experts". I help clients understand the terrain, lock onto leading literature, ask better questions, and build personalized frameworks for education and sustainable healing on their own terms.
Each engagement is tailored. Most clients work across multiple domains.
Peptides represent one of the most exciting frontiers in regenerative and performance medicine. I help clients develop a sophisticated understanding of the research around therapeutic peptides — research translation, which compounds are being studied for specific goals, sourcing and quality considerations, how to think about sequencing and monitoring, and integration with other recovery modalities.
Strategies for identifying mold and mycotoxin exposures through testing and inspection, plus phased recovery protocols.
Education on identifying chemical, heavy metal, and environmental exposures with practical frameworks for reducing body burden.
Post-viral syndromes, including Long COVID, represent a new and evolving frontier. I help clients make sense of the leading research and recovery protocols on viral persistence, mitochondrial impairment, and immune dysregulation. Many clients also explore peptide and therapeutic education as part of a broader recovery strategy.
Whether from mold, viruses, trauma, or other insults, brain fog, anxiety, insomnia, emotional dysregulation, and cognitive decline are increasingly common. I teach clients about leading practices to identify brain dysregulation objectively, treatment, and ways to boost neuroplasticity along the way to create new connections in the brain and long term recovery.
Movement as medicine. Rebuilding capacity through intelligent training, breathwork, mobility, and nervous-system-aware exercise — including targeted strategies for injury recovery. I have particular expertise in helping clients with lower back pain and avoiding surgery for disc herniation. For injury clients, many are also interested in the other modalities around peptides, therapeutics, and sleep as part of a broader recovery strategy.
Nutrition is a core foundation of our health. I help clients understand how quality nutrient support and therapeutic interventions can be used strategically to reduce inflammation, support detoxification, restore metabolic flexibility, and support all other modalities. Emphasis is always on sustainability and personalization rather than dogma.
Deep education on advanced therapeutic modalities and leading sleep interventions, including emerging research on recovery and circadian optimization.
Understanding your story, exposures, complaints, prior interventions, and what success looks like for you. No two stories are alike.
Putting the pieces together. We identify the drivers and create a clear, prioritized map of where to focus.
You receive curated protocols, resources, network, and decision frameworks tailored to your situation.
Ongoing sessions support implementation, troubleshooting, and refinement. We track progress, adjust course, and build the self-trust and skills for long-term sovereignty.
No. Functional Warrior provides educational consulting and coaching services only. I am not a licensed physician, nurse practitioner, or healthcare provider. Nothing I share constitutes medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. All decisions about your health should be made in consultation with your own licensed healthcare providers. My role is to help you understand complex topics, interpret research, and develop personalized educational frameworks based on my own recovery experience and study.
All sessions are virtual via secure video. Engagements are offered as multi-session packages (typically 4–12 sessions) or focused intensives. Discovery calls are 30 minutes and complimentary. I also offer limited single-session educational consultations for specific topics when appropriate.
Yes. Many of my clients have seen numerous specialists without clear answers. I specialize in helping people who are navigating multi-system, “mystery” illness patterns where conventional care has been insufficient. My strength is synthesis across domains and translating emerging research into practical understanding.
My expertise comes from over two decades of personal lived experience with the exact conditions I now consult on, combined with rigorous self-directed study of the scientific literature, clinical research, and direct mentorship from practitioners across functional and integrative fields. I hold no formal medical licensure or academic credentials in healthcare. This is disclosed transparently in all client agreements.
I do not accept insurance. Services are paid directly by the client. Because these are educational consulting services and not medical care, they are generally not eligible for insurance reimbursement or HSA/FSA use. I provide detailed invoices upon request.
